It's time for Lit-Cologne, the literary festival that's been taking Cologne by storm for the last nine years. Unfortunately for the "only English speakers" you might be too late for some of the big events in English.  Both Patti Smitt and Margaret Attwood are sold out already - but there may still be tickets for Nick Hornby on the 18th March.  The programme covers adults and kids once again, and teams up authors, celebrities and some odd locations: like Martin Cruz Smith and Jan Gregor Kremp at the Polizeipräsidium in Cologne (English and German - 28th March), or Josh Bazell and Richy Müller on the MS RheinEnergie/Literature ship (English and German - 13th March).  Check out the full programme, visit if you can and be prepared for a right good read.
