Comedy in Bonn in English
The lucky people of Cologne have been blessed with an English stand up comedy show since 2003 - thanks to Hollywood's Comedy Nights. But what about our neighbours down in Bonn? Johnny Hollywood used to put on an extra show down south but it was a tough call running two shows, so the Bonn show closed down. Bonners will therefore be happy to hear that a new comedy show - in English - is starting up in Bonn. Run by Steve Calcott (also known locally for running The Hash House Harriers - a drinking club with a running problem) the show will be known as the Funnybone Club im Kellar (f c i k me - it's comedy) and will take place every month at Fiddlers Irish Pub. The next show is this Wednesday - 20th January - and features the comic talents of Steve Dix, Casey Pruett, Andy Valvur, Kati Rausch and Cologne's own comedy club MC - Johnny Hollywood.

The third comedy show from Bonn will be on 16th March at 8.30 pm in the Fiddlers Irish Pub Bonn. Tickets are still 3 € and we have another International line up to tickle your funnybones and ribs simultaneously. Come along and have some fun at Frongasse 9 Endenich.

Amazing Comedy Bargain!
This was a fantastic show from top to bottom! Steve Calcott did a wonderful job organizing and hosting. Fiddler's Irish Pub had great service, food, drink and atmosphere. The comedians were really funny and the audience was superb. I highly recommend everyone to check this out because it is THE ENTERTAINMENT BARGAIN at only 3 Euros for 2 hours of but-gusting laughs.
And buy a t-shirt to help support Steve!

Thanks for the write up. We had a super evening last night with seven comedians and a full house. What more could we ask? The line up included two German newcomers Kati Rausch and Maxi Gstattenbauer. These two were part of a fully international line-up with Steve Dix and James Allen from the UK and Andy Valvur, Casey James and Johnny Hollywood from The US.
If I hadn't read the original Rhine magazine some 3 or 4 years ago and seen the piece Johnny had written the funnybone club im kellar would probably never have been born - so it's partly thanks to you that we now again have an English German Comedy Club in Bonn again.
