International Comedy Festival in Cologne

It's here again - the Cologne Comedy Festival.  There are of course a whole host of fantastic comics performing at this year's festival - mostly in German, and although many of us have the ability to understand the highly complex naratives that make up the "German sense of humour", there's nothing quite like a back to basics, stand up show, in English.  And this year Johnny Hollywood is putting on two shows that are guaranteed to have you laughing until you leave a little puddle under your chair.  On the 21st October you can see Sanjay Shihora - the guru of comedy all the way from India; sassy sexy Tamika Campbell - she's fast, she's furious and beautiful to behold; crazy Canadian David Cassel - he's a street performer, he's a mime, he doesn't even have to open his mouth to make you laugh; and last but not least the comedians anonymous team - the home grown gang of comedians made up of bacon lover Casey James, star wars fan Steve Dix and James "I've got a six pack and I'm gonna show it" Allen.  This promises to be a legendary night. 
And then there's more!  On the 28th October Johnny has cultivated intercultural comedy exchange by inviting an entire crew from the neighbouring Comedy Café Amsterdam. Bob Maclaren from New Zealand shows us how he combines the isolation of New Zealand with the lurid madness of Amsterdam; Lambros Fisfis from Greece brings his unique Mediterranean style of humor to the stage; and Tim Ward from the USA will show us how a master improvisor brings an audience to it's knees.
And on top of all that talent - we have the inimitable Johnny Hollywood leading us from one act to another, with his trusty co-host the lovely Cat Chaplynn.
One thing you must do is BOOK IN ADVANCE!  The festival grows in popularity every year and Flanaghans will be sold out in advance - no tickets at the door for these shows.
