Life beyond the Abi

If you are the parent of a teen, or a high school student thinking about your future opportunities you may be interested in the 2013 'Einstieg Messe' that is taking place at the Cologne exhibition center on February 1-2. Around 330 universities and companies from ten countries will be on hand to talk to students, parents and teachers about education, college, work, volunteer and study abroad opportunities. This year there will also be a higher education pavilion sponsored by the NRW Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research. They will be presenting a recent study on local universities such as Cologne, Bonn, Münster, Bochum and Dusseldorf. Companies involved in the event include Ford, Daimler, Rhein Energie, the Sparkasse Köln-Bonn and Lufthansa. Over the two days some 90 presentations and panel discussions will take place. Visitors will also be able to find out about free training courses and dual degree options. Over 30,000 visitors are expected over the two days and we've got 5 pairs of free tickets to give-away. Send a mail to gpinkner@ppverlag.com with your name and address. The first 5 mails received will win the tickets. For more information about the exhibition program visit: www.einstieg.com koeln/
