"Open House" at B.I.S.

BIS

You can see the appeal of International Schools to Expats with kids living in NRW.  If you're only here on a contract and aim to return "home" in the not so distant future, then an International School makes a lot of sense.  There's also a strong appeal for German families willing and able to pay for a first class education for their kids in a truly international environment.  There are over 10 international schools to choose from in the Rhine area alone and one of the best is the Bonn International School.  It's an independent, full-day school offering a comprehensive English Language education and low student-teacher ratios for children aged 3-19 years. Located directly next to the River Rhine in a modern, well-equipped facility, BIS hosts over 570 students from more than 60 countries. They will be having an "Open House" on the 25th February where you can come and see the school in action. Classes at all grade levels will be open for observation and visitors will be encouraged to sit in on a variety of classes and age groups to see what makes education at BIS special.  Now is also the time to take advantage of the BIS financial Assistance Programme which has been an important part of the school since 1998. Applications for financial assistance for the school year 2010-2011 are now being accepted. Visit the Admissions page of the school website for more details. Applications should be returned to the Admissions Office no later than 15 February 2010.
