A Special Relationship

We all know about 'that special relationship'. You know, the one we all thought was over when on his first official meeting with the new US president, Gordon gave Obama an ornamental pen holder made from the timbers of the Victorian anti-slave ship HMS Gannet, and Obama gave Gordon Brown a DVD box set of 25 classic American films. A gift about as unimaginative as a soap assortment from the Body Shop. But it will take more than just a few dodgy gifts to end the famous 'relationship'. It's been on rocky ground on and off for over 400 years according to Tony Dunham and Andy Valvur who have decided to put the marriage of inconvenience under the analytical knife and in doing so have come up with a rib tickling comedy that you really should go and see. A Special Relationship, the latest stage entertainment was penned and is performed by, in no particular order, the very British gentleman, Mr. Tony Dunham, and his colonial counterpart, the American, Mister Andy Valvur. In the course of the evening, the handsome pair grapple intimately with such themes as, Chicks, Birds, Cricket, Baseball, History, Humo(u)r, Bunnies, Manners, Crumpet, Politics, Art and Sex. This comedy is in English and American and is suitable for all …even those who do not speak the languages.
